For me I had an injury, and I suffered chronic pain 24/7 for twenty two months. The pain burnt out my adrenals and I ended up with adrenal chronic fatigue. I found that western medicine had no answers at all.
I pushed myself so hard that one day I stopped and it was really challenging to get back into life. I burnt out my adrenals, not a simple task, it took many choices over many years of saying no to my body.
Each aspect of our life is part of our greater weave, our greater story, our living masterpiece. For me, the gland that was less than optimal was my adrenal gland. Which spoke to the part of my story where I was conceived, from a violent act.
In my personal story my digestive system has been less than optimal, with my immune system, learning in the womb, to default to PTSD, I was constantly on alert, which impacted my adrenal glands, and pushed high levels of cortisol into my body, making it impossible for my body to process food in the way that it is meant to.
The fight-or-flight response is part of the general adaptation syndrome, defined in 1936 by Canadian biochemist Hans Selye, of McGill University in Montreal. He published his revolutionary findings in a simple seventy-four-line article in Nature, in which he defined two types of “stress”: eustress (good stress) and distress (bad stress).

I had always been an active person, living life at full speed. One fall up 2 steps and my life changed FOREVER.
Each aspect of our life is a part of the greater weave of our story, our living masterpiece.
Science has now told us that our memories, our thoughts, and emotions, they don’t live in our mind. They actually live in our subtle bodies, or the subtle energy around our physical, our energy field. And when we don’t clear it, it can show up as feeling heavy, like we’re carrying the weight of the world on our shoulders, feeling overwhelmed, there’s just too much information for us to hold. In actual fact, there is too much going on, and it’s not all in our external world, it’s all of your wounded stories and our energetic cords of attachments, that are in or connected to our subtle bodies, that are crowding you out.
